General Hospital has been delivering drama and action. Fans love getting the behind-the-scenes scoop on some of the prime location shoots. Soap star Steve Burton gave fans a glimpse into the making of a recent episode leaving many on the edge of their seats.

    Action-Packed Drama

Ever since Jason Morgan returned to GH, the show hasn’t been short on action. He shared a BTS look at the September 27th episode. WSB drones took hostage of Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) camp. That intense moment saved Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason’s lives.

Both of them were up for murder. The shocking attack released missiles into the camp. It ended the lives of the henchmen who were involved. Burton took to Instagram to share what it took to film that captivating scene.

He revealed that he was “on the lot” of the prime location. He shared a montage of the crew working hard to make the scene as real as possible while following safety regulations. Numerous arrows pointed out the characters and the prime locations of the ABC lot. The pyrotechnics crew tested the explosion, so it would translate perfectly on screen.

Fires were strategically placed throughout the set to show the devastation from the explosion. One extra was labeled as “Dead Guy.” Meanwhile, Anna and Jason kneeled on the floor and covered themselves as drones were sent flying.

The footage ended with the actual explosion fans saw on television. Burton panned the camera back to him. He was covered in smoke, but he couldn’t be happier. He called the scene “awesome.” He also thanked fans for watching and supporting the daytime soap.

“Always a BLAST! So much fun doing this location on our lot! Thanks to special F/X, stunts, and the crew for making this happen!” Burton wrote in his caption.

GH fans can’t stop buzzing about the episode. Many of them flocked to the comment section to react to Burton’s BTS footage. One fan wrote, “Awesome behind-the-scenes post! Thank u!” Another user thanked Burton, writing, “Awesome to see how it all comes together, thanks Steve.”

A lot has been happening on GH lately. Fans have also been reacting to Jason and Anna’s kiss on social media. It seems like sparks are flying between the two.
