The
Cleveland Browns saw a fan favorite return to practice this week. Now, everyone is wondering when he will be ready to play in a game.
It’s no secret the Browns need him back ASAP.
Nick Chubb , one of Cleveland’s most beloved players, was seen on the practice field yesterday for the first time since injuring his knee in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. There’s no word yet on when he’ll be able to take on a full workload.

Chubb was injured in Week 2 last season when he was hit below the belt by Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Chubb tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments and had to sit through two surgeries to get his leg back in order.
The Browns placed Chubb on the reserve/PUP list on Aug. 27. The team now has 21 days to activate him, or else he has to sit out the rest of the year.
There’s speculation that Chubb’s likely return to playing in a game will be October 20. That’s a home game against division rival Cincinnati Bengals, though there’s no proclamation by the team that it will take that long.
The Browns are off to a rough start. Through their first four games, Cleveland is 1-3 with back-to-back losses to the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders. We play the 3-1 Washington Commanders this Sunday.
