Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr., who battled through a shoulder injury in last week’s 24-20 loss to the Houston Texans , was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

The former first-round pick has been sporting a red non-contact jersey as the team prepares to host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. His involvement so far puts him on track to play, especially since he was able to return and finish last week’s game against the Texans.

Etienne’s production has been down this season as Jacksonville’s offense has struggled overall. He had a rare lost fumble that crushed the team’s chances of a win against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. He’s also barely outgained backup Tank Bigsby on the ground through four games, despite handling more than twice the carries.

Those numbers, paired with Jacksonville’s 0-4 start, has led to chatter of Etienne landing on the trade block this season if things don’t improve soon.

The Jaguars would love to have their top running back in a must-win spot against the division rival Colts (2-2).
