(MA) Meet Archie, a one-year-old pup who is ready to put his past behind him and dive headfirst into a bright future, preferably with your bed in it. This young Boxer mix pup was briefly an owned dog with a home of his own. However, for reasons unknown his former "owner" simply tied him to the gate of a shelter and left him.

Though they weren't sure why "anyone would ever do such a thing to this sweet boy", Great Dog Rescue New England was more than happy to take Archie into their loving and capable hands. Now living safely with a foster, Archie is ready and waiting for you to come get him. So you better hurry up!

More Information On Archie

Archie is a 1-year-old Boxer, Pug, and possibly Boston Terrier mix puppy who weighs, as of 10/02/24, approximately 37 pounds. He has a short coat length, which is apricot and beige in color. Archie is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Archie is a very good boy who has not let his poor past treatment by humans define him. This pup is full of love and affection that he is willing and eager to shower and potential new family with. He loves playing and receiving attention and treats. As expected of a puppy, this one-year-old has a lot of energy.

As far as training goes, Archie is already house-trained and walks well on a leash. Additionally, he sleeps well in his crate every night, though his fosters state he would also be fine sleeping in a bed with his humans. Future training should come easy as he is very food-motivated. Archie also does very well with children and other dogs.
