NOBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — An Ohio woman has been arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of suspected LSD, Suboxone strips, and methamphetamine.

Stephanie Stach, 45, of Canton, has been charged with 2nd-degree felony Trafficking in Drugs, 2nd-degree felony Possession of Drugs, and 3rd-degree felony Tampering with Evidence, according to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest took place on September 26, 2024, after Deputy Jeff Perry conducted a traffic stop on Stach’s vehicle for an equipment and moving violation on I-77.

During the stop, Deputy Perry noticed several suspicious signs and requested assistance from Noble County Deputy Paul Channel and K9 Deputy Dagger.

K9 Dagger detected the presence of illegal narcotics during an open-air sniff around the vehicle.

A subsequent search revealed a large quantity of Suboxone strips and suspected LSD.

Detective Cory May then joined the investigation and the search resulted in the discovery and seizure of over a quarter pound of suspected methamphetamine, along with packaging materials and a scale indicating intent for resale.

Stach was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Noble County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Sheriff Jason Mackie emphasized the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking, stating, “My staff is relentlessly targeting drug traffickers every shift, every day. We do our best to find the drugs before they find their way into our neighborhoods and homes.”
