JuJu Watkins Makes Her Opinion of LeBron James Extremely Clear

JuJu Watkins is heading into her second college basketball season with the USC Trojans following her sensational freshman campaign in 2023-24.

Watkins represented USC at Big Ten Media Days on Thursday, reintroducing herself to the spotlight as one of the biggest stars in college basketball.

In an interview with CBS Sports, Watkins was asked to test her NBA knowledge with an interesting question.

Watkins was asked to pick who she would want taking the final shot in clutch-time moment. The second-year superstar went with Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James over James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Kobe Bryant.

Watkins hesitated a bit when it came to Bryant, but still ultimately went with The King.

"I'm just going to say LeBron," Watkins said.

Watkins finished her freshman campaign as the NCAA's second-leading scorer (27.1), trailing only Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark (31.6). She set the all-time USC scoring record with 51 points in a win over Cameron Brink and the Stanford Cardinal on Feb. 2.

LeBron James is heading into his 22nd NBA season. Bronny James Jr., now a rookie for the Lakers, joined USC's men's team in the same class as Watkins.
