I worked with cartoonist, Jerry King for better than 15 years. Over the years, we’ve combined for thousands of cartoons. And Jerry does many more thousands of cartoons on his own. He is quite possibly the most prolific cartoonist in the world. He may also have sold more cartoons than any other cartoonist in the world.

After talking it over, we decided to try a cartoon feature on Medium. For now, we’ll roll with 10 cartoons per week. This week we are using the general category of writing. In the future, cartoons may or may not have a general theme. Unless the theme is being funny. We go for that all the time. So, here’s the first addition. Enjoy.

I’ve recently had some robo telemarketing calls. I’ve taken to doing a litmus test to see if I’m talking to a real person. The recording asks, “How are you?” I’ve been replying, “I’m at death’s door.” The response I got today was, “That’s okay.” I hope that wasn’t a real person.
