ST. LOUIS – Loved ones are saying the Ferguson Police officer, who has been hospitalized for nearly two months now, is making “remarkable progress.”

36-year-old Travis Brown remains in the ICU after he was knocked to the ground by a protester outside the Ferguson Police Department. He’s battling a traumatic brain injury, but his doctors, family, and friends aren’t giving up on hope.

Brown’s best friend joined FOX 2 in studio to discuss his recovery journey along with how to support the family during this time.
