Coach Ryan Day's Ohio State Buckeyes are the odds-on favorite to win the Big Ten this season along with Pac-12 newcomer Oregon, depending on which sportsbook you look at.

The Buckeyes are preparing to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Horseshoe on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET with an eye on solving the puzzle that is Iowa Defensive Coordinator Phil Parker's defense.

Meanwhile, NFL scouts and analysts are taking notice of the Buckeyes after last week's demolition job of Coach Jonathan Smith's Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing, MI.

The latest Pro Football Focus NFL Mock Draft lists four Ohio State players as likely first round picks, with two of them coming on the offensive side of the football and two of them on the defensive side of the football.

The highest ranked player is EDGE Jack Sawyer at pick #23. Sawyer is a 6-foot-5, 260 pound senior defensive end from Pickerington North High School in Ohio. The Buckeyes star has 15 sacks and three forced fumbles in his career and brings the physicality and versatility NFL teams are looking for as an EDGE defender.

Graduate student Emeka Egbuka, a familiar name among Big Ten fans, is next at pick #28. Egbuka is a 6-foot-1, 205 pound receiver with 21 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Cornerback Denzel Burke ranked 31st on PFF's list. Burke has been one of the Big Ten's top cover corners for years and brings versatility to the defensive backfield.

Rounding out the list is offensive tackle Josh Simmons, who was singled out for his fluidity of motion by reporter Trevor Sikkema.

The four Buckeyes are projected to be selected by the Falcons, Steelers, Vikings and Chiefs, respectively, with Colorado CB/WR Travis Hunter listed as the projected number one overall pick.
