    Crime Roundup: Vehicle break-ins reported in Eastern Pines area

    The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pair of vehicle break-ins in the Eastern Pines area of Greenville.

    They were reported on Sept. 28 in the 200 block of Leon Drive, a residential area near L.T. Hardee Road and Pineridge Drive. The area is east of Lake Glenwood.

    The first break-in was reported at 11:17 a.m. A pair of sunglasses valued at $150, a neck massager valued at $86 and $20 cash were stolen.

    The second break in was reported from a neighboring residence. No items were listed as stolen in the incident report.

    Both cases are under investigation.
