West Palm Beach GreenMarket Turns 30!

The West Palm Beach GreenMarket opens for its 30th season tomorrow! The city's Community Events Manager Mary Pinak tells us what's new this year...

"In addition to 16 new vendors, which is pretty spectacular, along with our fabulous returning vendors, a couple of which have been with us almost the entire time, we had some new ideas last year that we've actually expanded on."

She's referring to the "Master Chef Showcase" competition that happens on the second Saturday of each month and this year some guests will be able to sample the food the chefs will be making.

This year's theme is "Seasoned to Perfection" and Mary says that more than 130 vendors are taking part, which is the most they've ever had.

The GreenMarket runs along the West Palm Beach waterfront and the 200 block of Clematis Street from 9 to 1 every Saturday through April.
