Chicken Chain Among The "Fastest Growing" And "Home Of The Better Chicken Sandwich" Is Coming To FL

When I write articles about new restaurants coming to Florida, some Floridians comment that the Sunshine State doesn't need another chicken chain. But it will get one in the form of Chick N Max in possible markets like Orlando, Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Miami, Tallahassee, and West Palm Beach. This article will discuss what Florida might expect from this chain.

About Chick N Max: Floridians who are skeptical of another chicken chain might want to know that this Kansas chain prides itself on unique flavors. Their staples are made with almond-wood smoked pulled chicken (although fried options are also available.) Toppings are creative, too, with options like fried jalapeño pepper strips, cucumber, and sweet and spicy sauce.

The chain claims that no one else uses almond wood, which gives their chicken a unique profile. The company's motto is "home of the better chicken sandwich," and it has been named one of the "fastest-growing" companies in Witicha, Kansas.

I would normally offer feedback from Floridians but since there are no Florida locations yet, I can offer feedback from a social media poster in a thread about Wichita, Kansas. A poster with the handle ilrosewood wrote, in part:

"If you like quality chicken then you have to do Chick N Max. Theirs is cooked fresh and it is topnotch. The max tenders are insanely big..."

The Florida Expansion: In mid-September of 2024, Chick N Max shared that it planned for as many as 100 Florida restaurants in markets like Orlando, Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Miami, Tallahassee, and West Palm Beach. The company also said this expansion could bring as many as 2,500 jobs.

The author is not affiliated with Chick N Max or any other restaurants.
