    Sisterhood is one of the most nurturing relationships you could ever have. Beyond blood, an alliance is built between sisters, sharing a unique connection that only they can explain.

    If you do not have sisters, do not fret. Sisterhood can also be a strong bond — that doesn’t have to necessarily be sustained by sharing the same the DNA. Sisters can be your sorority sisters, classmates, friends or even coworkers.

    But how can you find like-minded ladies like you? What is your go-to method for finding other women to form a strong relationship with to consider them a ‘sister’?

    The ladies of RNB Philly curated a list of ways that women can seek sisterhood for those who are longing with a closer connection with God’s greatest creation — Woman.

    Finding a gym girlie can help you gain a close relationship with you lose pounds. A gym partner can hold you accountable, which is a pivotal portion of sisterhood.

    2. Join a book club

    Joining a book club can allow you to gain friendship all while enjoying a little fictional (or nonfiction) entertainment

    3. Join Bumble ‘Friends’

    Bumble offers a friends feature for women to network and find acquaintances in the area from the comfort of your phone!

    4. Join a church

    A church community can not only offer you a sense of sisterhood within the clergy, but can also strengthen your religion and bring you closer to God.

    5. Join a non-profit organization

    Joining a non-profit can help you find a friend in whom you share similar beliefs with. It can also help find your hobby/passion outside of your professional career that brings you peace.

    9. Host your own event

    Nothing like being the master of your own ceremony. Host your own party, set your theme, and have your friends come over to eat some pizza, sip some wine, and watch a movie!

    10. Get closer to family members

    Who needs friends when you have family? Sure you may not be close, but that’s no reason for you not to build with you family member. You share the same DNA, talk about some of the things you struggle with, maybe your auntie or grandmom has a story that’s similar to yours and you can take notes on what to do with your life.
