A heartbreaking photo shows newborn Georgia twins who are the youngest known victims of Hurricane Helene — killed alongside their mom before some of their grandparents even got to meet them.

Khyzier and Khazmir Williams, who were born just a week before Helene hit, were crushed with mom Kobe Williams, 27, when a tree crashed through their trailer home in rural Thomson, their grief-stricken family said.

“It’s devastating,” said the twins’ grandad Obie Williams. “Now I’ll never get to meet my grandsons.

“I’d seen pictures when they were born and pictures every day since, but I hadn’t made it out there yet to meet them.”

Their grandfather said his daughter had promised to hunker down in the bathroom when she knew it wasn’t possible to evacuate with such young babies.

The twins’ bodies were discovered lying underneath their mother when relatives dodged fallen trees and downed power lines to check on the trio just hours after the hurricane tore through and ravaged their town.

The tragic photo of the boys, who were born Aug. 20, emerged as the hurricane’s death toll climbed to 215 as of Friday across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and the Carolinas.

Among the other young victims are a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy who were killed in Washington County, Georgia.

Meanwhile, Williams said their family is waiting for the bodies of the twins and their mom to be released by the coroner and for roads to be cleared before they arrange the funerals.

Williams, who was trapped in his neighborhood near the South Carolina border for a day after the storm barreled through, said his daughter had been studying to be a nursing assistant but had taken time off from school to give birth to her sons.

He described her as a lovable, social and strong young woman who always had a smile on her face and loved to make people laugh.

“That was my baby,” he said. “And everybody loved her.”
