    Emergency Construction and Road Closures in Morris County

    Multiple lane closures and construction projects are affecting local highways, impacting travel throughout Morris County today.

    MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. - As of 12:12 PM, emergency construction is taking place on I-80 westbound just west of Exit 30 (Howard Blvd) in Mount Arlington, with the left lane closed.

    On NJ Route 10, construction in both directions between Cairns Rd in Parsippany-Troy Hills and River Rd in East Hanover has one left lane closed, ongoing until 2:00 PM.

    US 46 also has multiple closures: between CR 644/Main St in Rockaway Township and NJ 53 in Denville Township, the right shoulder is closed until 3:00 PM. Additionally, the section of US 46 from east of CR 618/Mountain Lakes Blvd in Mountain Lakes to McClellan St in Newark has a left lane closure until 3:00 PM.

    On NJ 15, all lanes will be intermittently closed in the vicinity of CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd in Rockaway Township until 3:00 PM. I-80 eastbound near Exit 34 (NJ 15) in Wharton has the right shoulder closed until 2:00 PM.

    Construction is also affecting NJ 53 northbound from North of US 202 in Morris Plains to North of NJ 10 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, with the right lane closed until 3:00 PM. On I-287, the left shoulder is closed at Exit 47 (US 202) in Montville Township, with closures expected to continue until further notice.

    Motorists are advised to plan their travels accordingly and expect delays on these routes.
