Dwyane Wade Issues Challenge for Angel Reese After Strong Rookie Campaign

Angel Reese may not have finished her rookie campaign in the WNBA the way she wanted to after her season came to a premature end due to a fractured wrist, but there's no doubt that she had a strong first season in the pros.

Reese put up some big numbers with the Chicago Sky (13.6 PPG, 13.1 RPG, 1.9 APG, 39.1 FG%) and earned an All-Star selection in her first WNBA season.

While there were a lot of positives for Reese, it's clear that she also has several areas in which she can grow. The Sky center recently asked NBA legend Dwyane Wade where he thinks she can improve moving forward, and he issued a challenge for her ahead of her second WNBA campaign.

Wade wants Reese to be more confident on the offensive end of the floor, as her hesitancy to assert herself if holding her back in his eyes.

When Reese gets going, she's a dominant two-way player on the interior, but there are times when you can see her struggles on the court get to her.

That's natural for young players when they transition to professional sports, but now that Reese has one full season in the WNBA under her belt, chances are she will be able to take Wade's advice to heart and put together a better offensive campaign in year two in the league.
