    Booneville Man's Traffic Stop Results in Arrest for Possession

    Prentiss County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kolby Knight, assisted by Investigator Aaron Stolz, conducted a traffic stop Monday night that resulted in the arrest of a man from Booneville.

    According to a press release from Prentiss County Sheriff's Department, the traffic stop was conducted on South Lake Street in Booneville. Joshua Corey Huddleston, age forty, was arrested during the stop for possession of a controlled substance enhanced with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Huddleston also had an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

    Currently, Huddleston is being supervised by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, and a hold has been placed on him. His bond was set by Judge Craig Bishop at $100,000.

    His case will be presented to Prentiss County Grand Jury by North Mississippi Narcotics Unit Agent Taylor Walker.
