Pink Reveals the 'Dumb' Reason She Got Arrested at 13 During Summer Carnival Tour

Pink is opening up about an early-life encounter with law enforcement on the latest leg of her Summer Carnival Tour, where she's surprised audiences with a bit of trivia about getting arrested at the ripe old age of 13.

The "Trouble" singer, 45, has been sneaking the lore in during the introduction of a newer addition to her setlist: a cover of 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up?," which happens to be at the center of her criminal past.

It was, as she told the crowd in Melbourne, Australia, earlier this year, the one and only time she's ever been booked on a charge for disturbing the peace after she belted the track "out of the third-floor window" of her friend's attic.

While telling the story again at a tour stop later this summer, she told the audience, "I got arrested when I was 13 for singing this song out of a window, which I think is dumb, because I was just doing what the song told me to do."

She also revealed the track is one of her favorites before inviting the crowd to disturb the peace with her.

While not too many details about the arrest have surfaced, it certainly sounds like a fluke, as during her stop at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 3, she also clarified that she knew better than to ever get arrested after the age of 18—and so far, she's stuck to that.
