The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-2 to begin the season but are currently experiencing some drama. On Wednesday, just days after the Raiders beat the Cleveland Browns 20-16, superstar wide receiver Davante Adams requested a trade from the team.

Since then, many have speculated which franchise may pull the trigger on the 31-year-old wide receiver. The New York Jets are a favorite choice for NFL fans, as that would reunite Adams with former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers.

Other teams that have been hot in the rumor mill are the Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and Pittsburgh Steelers. With the trade deadline being on Nov. 5, the Raiders may opt to way their options throughout Oct.

However, Adams stirred the pot on Friday after sharing a cryptic post on his Instagram Story. The superstar wide receiver shared an image of famed poet and writer Edgar Allen Poe. Due to one of Poe's most famous poems, "The Raven," it appears Adams may be hinting the Raiders are sending him to the Baltimore Ravens.

We've seen cryptic posts on social media before and sometimes they can be a smokescreen. So, it's important to take these kinds of posts with a grain of salt. Regardless, the idea of Adams playing alongside Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and Mark Andrews is incredibly intriguing.

Nothing is set in stone yet, as this is what's currently hot in the rumor mill right now. As of Oct. 2, the Jets are the current betting favorite at -110 while the Ravens are more of an underdog at +1600, according to Draft Kings Sports Book.

Adams did not participate in the Raiders' Week 4 matchup against the Browns as he's dealing with a hamstring injury. Of the three games he's played, the star wide receiver has only had one truly strong performance. That came in Week 2 against the Ravens where Adams finished with nine receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Until a deal is made, the Raiders will focus their attention on Week 5 as they take on AFC West rival the Denver Broncos. Meanwhile, the Ravens are set to play against AFC North rival the Cincinnati Bengals.
