A mainstay along the Yonkers waterfront for nearly two decades has closed. As of Sept. 29, X2O Xaviars on the Hudson ended its 20-year license with the city, according to Yonkers mayor Mike Spano. Spano says the restaurant played a significant role in the area's revitalization. He says the city will announce an agreement with a premier five-star seafood restaurant to take over the property in the coming weeks.
