Katie Holmes showed off her fashionable fall style in a pair of $2,370 patchwork jeans while out in New York City on Friday.
The “Dawson’s Creek” alum was photographed rocking the festive Kapital pants as she headed into the Barrymore Theatre for a performance of “Our Town,” a Broadway play that began previews in September and also stars Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch.
Kapital is a sought-after Japanese fashion brand founded by a father and son. The jeans Holmes wore are currently sold out.
The actress, 45, paired the fun pants with a black translucent blouse and matching flats. She accessorized with a white shoulder bag, a green baseball cap and sunglasses.
She balanced a coffee cup in her hand as she graciously signed posters for eager fans before making her way into the building.
Previews for “Our Town” — a play that explores themes such as love, life and death in a small town —began on Sept. 17 and the show’s official opening will be on Oct. 10.
Holmes also stepped out in Manhattan on Wednesday in a chic fall ‘fit composed of medium-wash, wide-leg jeans, a yellow turtleneck and a beige peacoat.
The “Batman Begins” actress rocked a knit design from A.P.C that she previously wore in 2022. She paired the red and off-white sweater with light-wash, wide-leg jeans, ballet flats and a large brown and beige tote.
Holmes is frequently spotted in New York City , where she relocated after her 2012 divorce from Tom Cruise. She raised their daughter, Suri Cruise, there as well.
Her doting mom assisted her before returning to Manhattan as a first-time empty nester.
“Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy,” Holmes told Town & Country of the new chapter in her and Suri’s lives.
“I remember being this age, this time of beginnings,” she added. “It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
