Former ESPN college football analyst David Pollack recently released his Week 6 picks. He shared his thoughts on some of the biggest matchups while joined by co-host Brent Rollins.

Pollack reviewed some big-time matchups like Michigan State at Oregon, Syracuse at UNLV, Ole Miss at South Carolina and UCF at Florida.

After speaking on some of the SEC's upper-echelon schools, Pollack dove into the UCF—Florida matchup. While he believes the Gators have had a tough season in the SEC, he believes they will overtake the Knights in Week 6.

Pollack picked the Gators to defeat UCF despite the Knights being +1.5-point underdogs.

The college football analyst thinks the Gators' offense will be the true teller. Florida has been playing with a two-quarterback system for much of the year with veteran Graham Mertz and freshman DJ Lagway, and Pollack seems to be a fan of the decision from UF head coach Billy Napier.

"By the way, Florida's offense is good," Pollack said . "It's been really good this season so far, and they can score with Lagway being the change-up, quarterback that can fly, he's the freshman, he's the future, you can tell. But Graham Mertz also keeps the whole playbook open... Florida wins. Florida does not go winless against Florida schools."

Lagway earned the first college career start in Week 2 against Samford. He recorded three touchdowns and 456 yards, completing 18-of-25 of his pass attempts in the matchup.

Since his performance against Samford, he's been split drives with Mertz. The former Wisconsin Badgers signal-caller has posted four touchdowns and 487 yards on the year with a 75 completion percentage.

The Gators also have a serviceable running back, Montrell Johnson Jr., who has recorded three touchdowns and 234 yards on 48 carries.

While UCF has great contributors on the defensive end, like defensive end Nyjalik Kelly and Deshawn Pace, Pollack believes the Gators will take care of business behind their productive offensive attack.
