And just like that, the Lynx have reclaimed home court.

The Lynx beat the Connecticut Sun 90-81 Friday in Uncasville, Conn., in Game 3 of their WNBA semifinal series to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five second-round series.

Napheesa Collier got the Lynx off to a hot start, scoring 16 points and grabbing six boards in the first half as Minnesota took a 48-36 lead into the halftime break.

The Sun cut it to single digits several times in the second half, but they never got any closer than seven points as the Lynx were routinely able to provide an answer.

Collier scored a game-high 26 points and also had 11 rebounds. Courtney Williams had 16 points and eight assists; Kayla McBride tallied 13 points and five assists; and Bridget Carleton scored 12. The Lynx got 16 points off the bench, too.

The offense was flowing throughout the night. Minnesota shot 57% from the field and 33% from 3-point range, scoring at least 20 points in each quarter.

The Sun haven't gotten much out of their second unit this series, and that was the case once again Friday as they got just four from the bench. All five of their starters, however, did finish in double figures, with Brionna Jones leading the way with 21.

DeWanna Bonner had 16 points and eight boards; Marina Mabrey scored 14; Alyssa Thomas nearly had a triple-double with 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists; and DiJonai Carrington also contributed 13 points and a trio of steals.

The Lynx and Sun split the first two games of the series in Minneapolis, and the Lynx needed to win at least one game in Connecticut to keep their title hopes alive. Now, they'll have a chance to book their ticket to the finals on enemy turf.

The Lynx and Sun meet for Game 4 on Sunday in Connecticut. Time is TBD.
