Stony Brook and Villanova meet Saturday in what is suddenly a huge FCS showdown with major conference implications in the Colonial Athletic Association.

While Villanova is a legitimate FCS national title contender, Stony Brook suddenly looks every bit the part of an FCS Cinderella story. Under first-year coach Billy Cosh, the Seawolves are knocking on the door as the team receiving the most votes just outside the top 25 just a year after going 0-10.

After getting throttled 45-3 by Marshall in the season opener, Stony Brook has since rattled off four straight wins and has its eyes set on a massive upset at home against Villanova. If recent play holds up, Stony Brook should serve a much sterner test than a year ago when Villanova won 48-13.
