College football DFS picks and sleepers for Saturday, Oct. 5
We have these players circled on our DFS picks sheet for today!
Brady Cook 224.5 passing yards: HIGHER
Texas A&M has given up at least 249 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks over its last three games, including 250 to Bowling Green two weeks ago. The Aggies have yet to face a quarterback like Brady Cook this season, too. So this line of 224.5 passing yards is just too low, especially considering Cook has gone HIGHER in all four games he has played this season.
Kurtis Rourke 229.5 passing yards: HIGHER
One of the biggest surprises in college football this season has been Indiana, as the Hoosiers are off to a 5-0 start. Transfer quarterback Kurtis Rourke is a big reason for their success, throwing for 255+ yards in every game this season except for the first one, when the Hoosiers beat FIU by 24.
Jaxson Dart 285.5 passing yards: HIGHER
After a big upset last week, expect Ole Miss to come out firing and get their offense back on track. Even in the Rebels' lowest-scoring outing of the season, Dart threw for 261 yards last week, the only game this season he has thrown for LOWER than 285.5 yards. He will get back to throwing for 300+ this week.
Sleeper DFS pick for Michigan vs. Washington: Giles Jackson 52.5 receiving yards HIGHER
The former Michigan receiver gets a chance to showcase his skill this week against his former team. Michigan has Will Johnson, an elite corner, but the 5-foot-9 Giles Jackson does a lot of his damage from the slot and will largely avoid that matchup. Jackson has also gone HIGHER than 52.5 receiving yards in four of his five games this season; the only time he went LOWER was in a blowout win for the Huskies. Not only will Jackson have a big game, but the Huskies will pull off the upset against the Wolverines.
