    Weather Forecast For The San Francisco Bay Area

    The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Saturday calls for warm, dry weather.

    Daytime highs will be mostly in the 80s and 90s in the Bay Area. Inland areas, like Brentwood and Gilroy, can expect temperatures in the 100s.

    Overnight lows will be in the low 60s on the coast, in the high 60s around the bay and on the peninsula, and in the low 70s inland.

    Major excessive heat warnings are in effect in the north, south and east bay areas in addition to on the peninsula and the interiors of Monterey and San Benito counties. A moderate excessive heat warning is in effect for the Monterey Coast. An extremely high heat warning is in effect for higher elevation areas in Santa Cruz counties.

    Moderate fire weather impact warnings are active throughout the bay area.

    Warm, dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend, with some cooling next week. Excessive heat and fire weather warnings are expected to stay in effect in most areas through Tuesday.
