As Little House On The Prairie reaches its 50th anniversary, the show’s fans are disappointed by the turn of events as they are unsure of the celebratory plans. Organizer Jack Bishop of Gravel Road Markets LLC is currently under fire for poor organization and an underwhelming execution.

The show’s cast is accusing Jack of not announcing the canceled events, leading fans to arrive at venues in South Dakota and Tennessee only to be disappointed. Rather than label the ceremonies canceled, Jack is reportedly misleading fans into thinking it was sold out and taking advantage of them.

After unimpressive events in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, co-stars Melissa Gilbert, Alison Arngrim, Karen Grassle, Dean Butler, Charlotte Stewart, and Matthew Labyorteaux announced that they would be opting out of subsequent lineups in Tennessee, South Dakota, Missouri, and Texas.

They also sent a letter to Jack and his company, notifying him of their withdrawal and demanding that he remove any promotional material containing their likeness or endorsements. So far, Jack has refused to cancel the event on the booking site and the series’ actors urged fans to watch out before buying tickets.

Not only were the two previous events below expectation, but Gravel Road Markets LLC allegedly advertised Melissa as the convention’s co-producer. The actress did not hesitate to shut these claims down, noting that neither she nor her co-stars are Comic Con producers.

Melissa and the remaining cast members appreciated fans for their support and loyalty to the franchise and teased an upcoming production ahead of 2025 titled Little House Love. Thankfully, the reunion festival that was held in March was a success, as they hosted thousands of fans in Simi Valley, California, for about three days.
