I worry about dogs that are adopted spur-of-the-moment to "save" them, and are then returned by those unprepared for the effort and commitment. Adopters and rescuers need to remember the Rule of 3: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to start learning the routine, 3 months to start feeling at home. Give the dogs time! Don't return them if everything isn't perfect immediately!

This is because of #maryclaireborys. She can not and will not take the suggestions given to her by the rescue community. Heck, she had a homeless guy who brought the dog in for help and she killed it. Perfectly healthy dog looked at his eyes and said “I knew it wanted to die.”This woman is a danger to every stray how can people get their strays back? There’s not even bus service to the shelter. We need to get her out and we need to get every dog out of there and away from her staff who has no training they don’t even have a vet on staff! when volunteers asked to help rescue dogs she can’t be bothered to answer emails or phone calls. #maryclaireborys should go back to shuffling lumber. She has no business being around defenseless animals heck she got bit and didn’t even do the mandated reporting!! they break every rule of good animal management a supervisor lets a untrained kennel worker literally strangle dogs while she totters around. PleaseAdopt or foster!
