When a wide receiver gets compared to Randy Moss, you know they are doing something right. Moss attended Marshall in college and finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting in 1997. Moss had 1,647 receiving yards and a whopping 25 touchdowns that season.

Receivers made some incredible plays in Week 5. The game between the Alabama Crimson Tide had plenty of action for fans to enjoy. Alabama went into halftime up 30-7, but Georgia rallied in the second half and took the lead back late in the fourth quarter.

The play that sealed Alabama's 41-34 win was a 75-yard touchdown by true freshman receiver Ryan Williams. Williams was a former five-star receiver and the No. 3 player at his position in the 2024 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings .

Tim Tebow spoke about how impressive Williams has been this season on "SEC Nation" on Saturday. Tebow praised Williams' ability to be consistent and make insane contested catches, saying that the Alabama wideout was like Moss in that regard.

Williams finished the Georgia game with 177 receiving yards and one touchdown.

"It's a joke," Tebow said. "It's awesome. His ability to go up on make these contested catches and then have the body awareness of where's he at, where the defender's at to be able to make the play. But time and time again, it's not like he made one amazing play. He's running great routes the whole game, and then when you need a contested catch, he's like, 'Oh, I'm Moss.'"

Williams leads Alabama with 462 receiving yards and five touchdowns through four games. The Crimson Tide have produced plenty of award winners, especially at receiver. DeVonta Smith won the Biletnikoff Award (given to the nation's most outstanding receiver) and Heisman in 2020, and Jerry Jeudy (2018) and Amari Cooper (2014) also won the Biletnikoff.

Williams will showcase his talents again in Week 6 versus the Vanderbilt Commodores. Kickoff is at 4:15 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
