25-year-old fatally shot inside West Philly home

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead after a shooting in West Philadelphia Saturday morning.

Police say it happened just after 9:30 a.m. inside a home on 52nd Street near Thompson Street. They say a 25-year-old man was shot several times in the chest and stomach.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police have offered a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest or conviction. They ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact them or leave a tip at 215-686-8477.
