Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna Are Reportedly At Odds Over Their Daughter Dream Becoming A 'Cash Cow' Following Her Modeling Debut At Age 7

The Kardashians are no strangers to the spotlight. But according to recent reports, Rob Kardashian, 37, and Blac Chyna, 36, who share adorable seven-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian, have differing opinions on whether she should be thrust into the limelight.

According to reports, Rob Kardashian, who is very much unlike his sisters and half-sisters and likes keeping a low profile , wants to keep his daughter away from the cameras for as long as possible. But Dream’s mom Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, doesn’t feel the same way!

Rob Kardashian Reportedly Wasn’t Happy About Dream’s NYFW Runway Debut

Dream made her modelling debut last month when she appeared on the Zeus And Lexi Kids catwalk during New York Fashion Week, which Rob was initially not that happy about. However, he reportedly allowed it to happen because he knew how important it was for other members of his family. (We assume momager Kris Jenner was one of them!)

“He was hesitant for the fashion show but he complied and allowed her to do this because it was important to his family,” an insider shared with the Daily Mail. “But this also showed him that there seems to be a plan in place to make Dream into a cookie cutter Kardashian clone and he does not want that for his daughter,” they added.

Following her very successful runway debut, Dream launched her own Instagram account (above) which Rob was also reportedly desperately unhappy about.

Rob Kardashian Has Seen What Fame Has Done To His Sisters, And Reportedly Doesn't Want The Same For His Daughter

The insider went on to explain why Rob feels the way he does – and it's essentially because he has seen how fame has affected his sisters – Kourtney , Kim , and Khloé Kardashian – and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

"Rob has seen what happened to his sisters as a result of fame and he will be damned if he lets the same thing happen to his daughter," the source added, before going into more detail about some of the family's proposed plans for Dream's future.

"Because Dream is the only grandchild with the Kardashian last name, there are expectations that she is going to be a central part of their continued empire," the insider explained, before adding that Rob has tried hard to "shelter her from the limelight" and he is "very adamant that she not become a cash cow or become money-hungry and self-centered."
