    Police searching for suspect following deadly West Side hit-and-run

    (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are searching for the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the West Side.

    Police say it happened just after midnight on South Homan Avenue near Harrison Street, where a male pedestrian was struck by a possible silver Nissan Maxima.

    The vehicle has a black roof, a broken windshield, and damage to the left mirror and front bumper.

    Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information is urged to call Chicago Police Major Accident Investigation Unit at (312) 745-4521.
