After losing two straight games in Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys bounced back with a 20-15 win over their NFC East rival, the New York Giants, in Week 4's edition of "Thursday Night Football."

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was the top performer for their offense, recording seven catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.

However, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the NFL has issued a hefty fine to Lamb for his conduct against the Giants, which included taunting after a 55-yard touchdown and a "violent gesture" using a finger-guns motion following a first-down catch.

Lamb was fined a total of $25,324 for both actions: $11,255 for taunting and $14,069 for his unsportsmanlike gesture.

Prior to the season, Lamb, a former Oklahoma Sooners standout, held out of training camp as he awaited a contract extension. On Aug. 26, Dallas signed him to a four-year, $136M deal with $100M guaranteed.

Lamb, 25, earned his new contract following a career year in 2023 where he tallied a team record 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 14 touchdowns, two of which game on the ground.

Lamb's latest punishment marked the second-straight week he has been fined. In Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, Lamb was hit with a $22,511 penalty for an unnecessary roughness call.

The Cowboys sit at 2-2 going into Week 5, where they will face the 3-1 Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on "Sunday Night Football." With second wideout Brandin Cooks out for the next few weeks, Lamb will have to make up for what Dallas has lost in the passing game.
