San Francisco drivers, be prepared for major delays this weekend as the northbound US-101 connector to the Central Freeway is closed for emergency barrier repairs. The closure will last until 5 AM on Monday, October 7.

Northbound drivers from San Jose should take eastbound I-80 to the 7th St. offramp, turn left under the freeway, then take the 7th St. onramp back to US-101. Expect heavy traffic on detour routes, and delays near the 7th St. offramp.

If you're traveling northbound from San Jose, expect detours via eastbound I-80 and 7th Street. Significant delays are anticipated along the detour routes, though I-80 itself remains unaffected.
