The No. 8 Miami Hurricanes stormed back from down 35-10 midway through the third quarter to knock off the Cal Golden Bears 39-38 on Saturday and notch the largest come-from-behind win of the college football season.

The Miami offense struggled to get anything going in the first half, mustering just a touchdown and a field goal. However, quarterback Cam Ward and the rest of the Hurricanes play makers turned it on in the second half.

Miami outscored Cal 29-3 over the final 18 minutes as Ward carved up the Golden Bears’ secondary to the tune of 437 yards and two touchdowns plus a rushing touchdown.

Moments after the game — the team’s second last-minute, comeback win in as many weeks — the Hurricanes official X account tweeted a video of Ward doing his trademark celebration dance with the caption “Signed, sealed, delivered,” which drew the ire of several Cal fans chirping back at them.

“Crazy depending on the refs to bail you out each week,” @dominatingcode said .

“Ur check to the ACC refs was also signed, sealed and delivered,” @tcsgsco wrote .

“Congrats on being 0-2 in conference play,” @AllVirginiaTech commented .

“Gifted by ACC officials. Enjoy it,” @CVRogers36 stated .

“You paid the refs. Congrats,” @jdogmac117830 remarked .

Miami won last week’s thriller over Virginia Tech in similar fashion.

After trailing 34-24 in the fourth quarter, Ward led a nine-play, 70-yard touchdown drive and a 10-play, 57-yard touchdown drive in the final 12 minutes of the fourth quarter as the Hurricanes defense knocked away a Virginia Tech Hail Mary attempt as time expired.

Fans accused Miami of being in cahoots with the refs after that game as well.
