    republicans don't want to raise rates they just don't want them to drop from $11.00 to .90 cents. people will pay less to talk to the criminals but guess what they will still have to pay, along with the rest of us in increased taxes. I mean we already pay for the roof over their head, food they eat, clothes they wear, medical care, exercise equipment, air conditioning, heat, electric, water, college education. prisoners have it better than some kids having going hungry, veterans with PTSD so bad for what they've seen and done that they can no longer function in society so are living on the streets. 50,000 to 60,000 veterans a night are on the streets. if punishment was harder there wouldn't be a problem with recidivism. put murde*rers, ra*pist, ped*oph*files, drug & human traffi*cke*rs & those who commit a crime with a weapon to de*ath. wouldn't be many people in pri*son any more.

    hell years ago they didn't even have a phone at all but a phone that hung on the wall. we need to go back to the old days and the old ways
