Oba Femi Becomes Longest-Reigning NXT North American Champion Ever

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi has made history.

In a tweet , WWE highlighted how Oba Femi had broken the record for the longest NXT North American Championship reign. By reaching 270 days, he broke the previous mark, which had been set by Wes Lee (269 days).

Femi won the title by defeating Dragon Lee on the January 9 episode of WWE NXT. He has defended the championship against Lee, Lexis King, Brooks Jensen, Josh Briggs, Dijak, Wes Lee, Ivar, Joe Coffey, Otis, and Tony D’Angelo. Femi will defend the title against D’Angelo on the October 8 episode of NXT.
