Former WCW Star Reveals He’s Signed A WWE Legends Contract

WWE has had former stars like The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan signed to Legends Contracts for some time, although recently, they have been locking in smaller but still notable names like Jacqueline, Victoria, Ken Shamrock, and even Umaga’s former manager, Armando Alejandro Estrada. And now, after multiple former talents were in attendance at Saturday night’s Bad Blood premium live event, Diamond Dallas Page, who was among them, has announced on X that he has also inked a contract with the company.

“Last night was different. When I got home tonight, I signed my Legends deal and sent it in … The legends weren’t just seen as guys and girls who used to be wrestlers. Last night we were seen as TRUE legends…superstars from the past that paved the way. Treated with the ultimate respect & kindness from everyone, which I believe is all we’re really looking for. We love what we did and we’re extremely proud of it. Many of us are beaten and broken, but we wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

68-year-old Page stepped away from being a regular performer on television after his TNA run in 2005 and was considered retired by 2011. However, he would turn back the clock to wrestle for WWE in the 2015 Royal Rumble and Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2016. His final match would then come in 2020 during AEW’s Bash At The Beach-themed episode of Dynamite, where he teamed with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall against MJF, The Butcher, and The Blade. Still, considering the fantastic shape he has kept himself in, it would take a brave person to bet against him donning his wrestling boots one last time.
