The Bengals had a chance to kick the game-winning field goal with just under five minutes left in overtime, but holder Ryan Rehkow bobbled the snap and Evan McPherson's 53-yard attempt was well short and wide left. That attempt came after Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt scooped up a fumble by Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson at the Ravens 47 and returned it to the Baltimore 38.On Baltimore's first play following the miss running back Derrick Henry scampered 51 yards to the Bengals 6 to set up Tucker's game-winning field goal.Burrow completed 30 off 39 passes for 392 yards and a career-high five touchdowns and finished with a gaudy passer rating of 137.0, which is just shy of perfect (158.3 is considered a perfect rating).The Bengals fell to 1-4 with the loss, while Baltimore improved to 3-2.Click here to view the PDF file.The Bengals finished the game with 23 first downs and 443 yards total offense.Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had 10 receptions for 193 yards and two touchdowns and wide receiver Tee Higgins had nine receptions for 83 yards and two touchdowns.The Bengals rushed for 71 yards on 23 carries.Baltimore finished the game with 30 first downs and 520 yards total offense.Jackson completed 26 of 42 passes for 348 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions for a passer rating of 119.9.The Ravens rushed for 175 yards on 34 carries.The Bengals led 17-14 at halftime and pulled ahead 24-14 on the first drive of the second half when they moved 70 yards in 12 plays and capped it with a five-yard touchdown pass to Higgins with 8:51 left to play in the third quarter.The big play on the drive was a 39-yard pass from Burrow to wide receiver Andrei Iosivas on 3rd-and-10 that moved the ball to the Baltimore 2.It took Baltimore only four plays to cover 74 yards and answer to pull within 24-21 on Jackson's one-yard touchdown pass to tight end Isaiah Likely with 6:38 remaining in the third quarter.The Bengals responded with a time-consuming, 12-play, 70-yard drive that ate up 7:19 off the clock and capped it with a four-yard touchdown pass from Burrow to running back Chase Brown to increase their lead to 31-21 with 14:19 to play in the game.Baltimore came right back and cut the lead to 31-28 when Jackson hit tight end Charlie Kolar from two yards out with 9:05 to play in the game. That capped a 10-play, 92-yard drive.It took the Bengals one play to make it a two-possession game again when Burrow threw a quick screen to his right to Chase, who picked up great blocks by tight ends Drew Sample and Erick All and then raced 70 yards for a touchdown to make it 38-28 with 8:54 remaining.Baltimore wasn't done as it answered with an 11-play, 70-yard drive capped by a six-yard touchdown pass from Jackson to Likely with 5:24 to play to cut the Bengals lead to 38-35. Jackson fumbled the snap from center, scrambled backward and to his right and as he was falling out bounds flung the pass toward Likely.The Bengals drove to the Baltimore 28, but on 2nd-and-15 from the Ravens 33, Baltimore cornerback Marlon Humphrey jumped a slant route to Chase and intercepted on the Baltimore 28 with 3:01 left to play.The Ravens drove to the Bengals 38, but had to settle for a 56-yard field goal by Tucker with 1:35 left that tied to the score at 38-38.Baltimore took a 7-0 lead on the first possession of the game when it drove 70 yards in 12 plays and capped it with a one-yard touchdown run by Henry with 8:54 to play in the first quarter. It marked Henry's 100th career touchdown making him just the 27th player in NFL history to record that many.The Ravens had 32 yards rushing and 38 passing on the drive.The Bengals went three-and-out on their first possession, but then forced Baltimore to punt on the ensuing possession.The Bengals then proceeded to drive 86 yards in 10 plays and tied the score at 7-7 when Burrow hit Higgins on a slant for an 11-yard touchdown with 13:44 to play in the first half.After the teams traded punts, Baltimore drove 51 yards in seven plays and took a 14-7 lead when Jackson found a wide open wide receiver Rashod Bateman for a 16-yard touchdown with 8:09 remaining in the half.The Bengals went three-and-out, but Rehkow's punt covered 66 yards and was downed by rookie Daijhan Anthony on the Ravens 2. On Baltimore's first play from scrimmage, defensive end Sam Hubbard dropped Henry for a safety to pull the Bengals within 14-9 with 5:47 to play in the first half.It marked the Bengals first defensive safety since Dec. 1, 2019, against the New York Jets.The teams again traded punts, and the Bengals took possession on their own 21 with 34 seconds left in the half. They covered the 79 yards to the end zone in only four plays, the last of which was a 41-yard touchdown pass from Burrow to Chase with nine seconds left in the first half.
