Watch: Great Locker Room Moment with Emotional Swinney After Milestone Win

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney made history on Saturday night as he became the winningest ACC head coach.

With the Tigers’ 29-13 victory over Florida State in Tallahassee, Swinney earned his 174 ^th career win, passing legendary Seminoles coach Bobby Bowden for the most career head coaching victories leading an ACC program.

On Sunday, Clemson released a video sharing a great moment from the locker room Saturday night after Swinney’s record-breaking win.

Swinney was given a game ball for the milestone win, and he got emotional as he spoke to his team.

“Hey, listen, man, I love you and I’m thankful for y’all,” Swinney said. “Y’all got this done tonight, but there’s been so many great players, so many great coaches.”

“But the only thing that matters to me is that y’all become great men,” Swinney continued. “Hey, we’ll win a bunch of games, but it’s how you win that matters. And that’s what pleases me the most because I know we’ve won the right way. But let me tell you something — we got more to go.”
