Derrick Rose Receives Scoreboard Tribute at Chicago Bears Game

Derrick Rose attended Sunday's Chicago Bears game against the Carolina Panthers. The Bulls legend received a Soldier Field scoreboard tribute and a resounding ovation from the Bears home crowd.

Rose wasn't the only Chicago professional sports star in attendance to support the Bears. Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Shota Imanaga, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, Chicago Red Stars goalie Alyssa Naeher, and former Chicago Blackhawks goalie Scott Darling also attended the Week 5 contest.

Former Bulls guard Shaquille Harrison celebrates his 31st birthday on Oct. 6, 2024.

During the 2023-24 season, Harrison signed with the Memphis Grizzlies, appearing in three regular-season games, while also playing in the Los Angeles Lakers organization via their NBA G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. Harrison is the reigning NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year. His next professional basketball stop will be in France where he'll play for ASVEL Villeurbanne .
