This fall is shaping up to be a comeback season for outdoor vendors like Greg's Pumpkins in Park Slope, after 2023 saw consecutive rained out weekends. The wet weather hurt outdoor venues iconic to the fall, like pumpkin picking and orchards. "Last year, we were knee deep in water, throwing out rotting pumpkins and folks were staying home, so they are definitely more include to come out when we have this amazing sunny weather like we've had," said Adam Mathews, of Greg's Pumpkins. The venue is now in a new location, and complete with lots of umbrellas to help protect people and pumpkins. The venue also hosted pumpkin picking, carving and painting events on Sunday as crowds of all ages flocked to farm-like retreat. "I would say we are doing 150% better now this year compared to last year, and the weather absolutely helps," Mathews said. "
