Ozzy Osbourne has admitted to falling back into drug use as he battles ongoing health struggles , while keeping it a secret from his wife Sharon Osbourne .

The 75-year-old Black Sabbath frontman has resumed smoking marijuana and is "tempted to return to stronger drugs" due to his health issues . Ozzy, who once disclosed he was "on 46 pills a day" following a spinal injury, now depends on a wheelchair and crutches for mobility.

On his Madhouse Chronicles podcast , he admitted: "I am happier, but I am not completely sober. I use a bit of marijuana from time to time."

Despite his challenges, Ozzy credited his wife as being his rock, preventing him from returning to bad habits, although he's allowed cannabis, which is legal in Los Angeles. "I am lucky my wife kicks my b--- all the time and she would make life so difficult," he remarked.

"Even with marijuana she will f------ find it and get rid of it." Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Ozzy opened up about using ketamine after a doctor offered it to him during surgery.

"I went to a doctor recently and started to have this ketamine," he recounted. "He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That thing came back and weighted my brain."

He also mentioned that he has stopped attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and is now re-evaluating that choice. He advised: "If you are out there and you are using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help. AA is a 12-step program.

"It got me sorted out to a certain degree. I do not go to meetings myself anymore. Maybe I should do, I don't know." Ozzy also admitted that during his peak in the 1970s, he believed he couldn't be creative without taking drugs.

"I was the king of the world, a rock star and I had the biggest party ever. The thing is, I never thought I could do a f------ thing of creativity (if I was sober)."

Ozzy suffers from a range of health issues. In 2003, Ozzy nearly lost his life in an ATV accident, requiring emergency surgery to treat "a broken collarbone, eight fractured ribs that were pinching crucial blood vessels and a damaged vertebrae in his neck."

In 2019, Ozzy suffered a fall while getting into bed, which exacerbated his 16-year-old injuries, leading to multiple surgeries. Sharon alleges that the doctor who treated Ozzy's 2019 spinal injury made it worse.

When they arrived at Cedars Sinai Hospital, Sharon described the scene as "pandemonium" and admitted to going "full-Karen" on the staff for not attending to Ozzy immediately. Initially, Ozzy's X-ray only showed swelling, and he was sent home, but the next day, he was unable to lift his arm.

A second doctor placed Ozzy in the ICU to wait for the swelling to subside and advised surgery, warning that another fall could leave Ozzy a paraplegic. However, subsequent doctors who have examined the rock legend have questioned the first doctor's actions, suggesting that some procedures were unnecessary.

Ozzy also has Parkinson's Disease, which is a progressive nervous system disorder that causes a gradual loss of nerve cells in the brain. He was diagnosed with a mild form of the disease in 2003, but didn't disclose his diagnosis to the public until 2020.
