Highway 10 will be closed in both directions between Thurston Avenue and Ramsey Boulevard starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11. This closure is needed to allow crews to pour concrete for the new Sunfish Lake Boulevard bridge over the highway.

During this closure, traffic will be detoured to Bunker Lake Boulevard via Thurston Avenue and Ramsey Boulevard.

Accessing open businesses during overnight closures

Willy McCoy’s: A state trooper will be stationed at Ramsey Boulevard to guide you to the temporary access lane for the Sunfish Commons area. When leaving the area, head west to Ramsey Boulevard to continue onto Highway 10 or use Bunker Lake Boulevard for eastbound access.

The eastbound Highway 10 exit and entrance ramps at Sunfish Lake Boulevard will be closed 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11 to allow crews to finish pouring concrete.

During this closure, eastbound Highway 10 access to and from Riverdale Drive will remain available via right-turn lanes at the previous temporary traffic signal location. Eastbound Highway 10 will be reduced to one lane, allowing for a wider turn lane for oversized vehicles turning onto Riverdale Drive and providing an acceleration lane for those merging onto eastbound Highway 10.
