When it comes to the cost per meal, 42% of Americans typically spend between $11 and $20 per person, while 24% spend between $21 and $30. Additionally, 8% reported spending $10 or less, 11% spent between $31 and $40, 7% spent between $41 and $50, and another 8% spent more than $50 per person per meal.

The survey also showed that, on average, men tend to spend 19% more on dining out than women.
