I have visited drift creek falls several times, and on one occasion, many years ago, there were 3 of us and nobody else in sight, not even in the parking lot. I mean complete silence, and we were all 3 about halfway on the bridge, and we were all standing still taking in the view of the falls when we all heard footsteps on the bridge. It was a little eerie i have to admit, but it's pretty exciting to experience all at once. And to this day, I still wonder if anyone else has ever had the same experience.
