When B ack to the Futur e premiered in 1985, we were whisked away in a DeLorean to the fabulous 1950s, where Marty McFly got a glimpse at his parents’ lives as teenagers. If the movie hit theaters today, we’d go back 30 years to 1995 and see a world of flannels, combat boots, and mixed CDs while cruising in a Cybertruck. But let’s not think about that. Instead, get the flux capacitor fluxing to 1.21 gigawatts, and let’s go back to the 80s.

Some Of The Old “Back To The Future” Gang Recently Got Back Together At Comic Con

Original cast members Michael J. Fox , Lea Thompson, Christopher Lloyd, and Thomas F. Wilson, who played Marty McFly, Lorraine McFly, Dr. Emmett Brown, and Biff Tannen, respectively, participated in a panel discussion about the film.

Lea shared pictures on Instagram of the cast looking happy and well. She captioned the photo, “When we all get together it’s pure joy. Thank you wonderful fans and @comicconla we have 2 more days of joyous mayhem #bttf forever! What’s your favorite of the three.”

Fans chimed in the comment section, thrilled to see the cast together again.

A fan wrote, “Omg! I was there wish I saw you!”

This fan had to quote their favorite line. “Obviously one of the best lines in film history: ‘You look familiar; do i know your mother?'”

The franchise profoundly impacted this fan who wrote a beautiful dedication. “BTTF part 1 came to the theater near me 8 days after my mother passed away….I was 7 years old and was stunned and lost…the teenager that lived a couple doors down from me was the manager at the local movie theater and she could see how broken my family was so she took me to work with her and gave me popcorn and in I went to see the film….for 1 hour and 56 minutes my swirling brain went quiet and my soul was still….my worries left me as I cheered for Doc and Marty…my sorrow was replaced with happiness as watched George and Lorraine fall in love again….I stayed for the next viewing and went back 5 more times that week…to this day it remains my comfort movie and one of my favorite moments in life was sharing it with my own child…if you’ve ever hoped that your work and art has mattered…I can assure you that it does and has….saved my life and made my kid smile…so thank you…truly….thank you.”
