LeBron James' Patrick Mahomes Message During Chiefs-Saints Goes Viral

The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the New Orleans Saints on Monday night in their fifth game of the NFL season. Looking to stay undefeated, they entered this game a perfect 4-0 on the year.

The Chiefs' first four wins came against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers. New Orleans entered this game 2-2 on the season.

Six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes entered this game with 904 yards and six touch downs in four games. While Mahomes gets most of the attention for the Kansas City Chiefs, it was running back Kareem Hunt who scored first on Monday.

Mahomes completed four of his first five passing attempts to start this game. Reacting to the star quarterback's performance, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James sent out a message on X.

"KC just so good man," James wrote. "Doesn’t matter who’s not in the lineup as long as QB1 is!"

This post from James went viral, tallying over 300,000 views in the first 30 minutes it was posted.

As James stated, Mahomes has been a constant for the Kansas City Chiefs. The 29-year-old quarterback has three Super Bowl championships and three Super Bowl MVP awards since being selected 10th overall in the 2017 NFL draft.

The Chiefs won the last two Super Bowl championships. No team in NFL history has won three-straight Super Bowls.

Another Super Bowl MVP would give Mahomes four in his career. The list of athletes with four championship MVP awards is small, and includes James who shouted out Mahomes on Monday.
