Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has been back on the field, recently. This, after being held out weeks two and three, due to an ankle injury he suffered in week one , vs the Giants.

Addison has had one really good game, in Lambeau vs the Packers, when he caught seven passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. He’s failed to top 40 yards in both of his other two appearances in 2024. In Jordan’s defense, Sunday morning vs the Jets was only his second full game of the season.

Meanwhile, the 2nd year wide receiver out of USC has had another issue hanging over his head. Over the offseason, Jordan Addison was found asleep at the wheel of his very expensive car . After being charged with DUI, he was released.

Jordan Addison DUI arraignment hearing pushed back

Addison’s case has been making its way through the court system, since the incident took place. The next step was supposed to be an arraignment hearing scheduled for Monday. That hearing never took place, however. Instead, it was rescheduled out nearly two months, for December 3.

Neither Jordan Addison nor the Minnesota Vikings seem like they are in any big hurry to get this hearing done. At this point, I’d be very surprised if there is any sort of resolution on his DUI charges until after the season.

Minnesota Vikings, Addison in no hurry

The NFL’s disciplinary policies regarding drinking and driving relies on cases to go through the legal system first, before the league will lay down any discipline of its own. Thus, if these hearings can be pushed back far enough, any sort of suspension wouldn’t happen until next season.

You can read more about Jordan Addison’s DUI charges here , here and here . On the field, he has 143 yards and 1 touchdown, on 9 receptions. If Addison wants to get in any sort of rhythm with Sam Darnold, he needs to stay on the field. After this news dropped, it looks like he will be able to do just that, as long as he can stay healthy.
