(WVUE) - The Saints started the season with back-to-back victories, but have followed that with a three-game losing streak. The Chiefs ran all over New Orleans on Monday night (Oct. 7) to secure a 26-13 win.Saints quarterback Derek Carr suffered an oblique injury late in the game, leaving in the fourth quarter. Carr had completed 18 of 28 passes for 165 yards, two touchdowns and an interception before he was hurt.Jake Haener finished the game at quarterback for the Saints.Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 331 yards and was intercepted once. Both of the Chiefs’ scores came on run plays.The Saints (2-3) endured a disastrous start, courtesy of a poorly thrown interception by Carr. His first-quarter interception eventually led to a Kareem Hunt 5-yard touchdown run.Hunt wound up the leading rusher in the game, carrying 27 times for 102 yards and his first TD of the season.
